Communication Committee (Media/PR) Initiative
Statement of Purpose
The Communication Committee (Media/PR) is dedicated to overseeing and ensuring the consistency of general and national messaging for our Organization’s brand. This committee will work closely with the National Communications Director’s team to echo the national message at the state level, maintaining a cohesive and unified voice.
Goals and Objectives
- Ensure Consistent Messaging: Oversee all communication efforts to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all platforms and materials.
- Collaborate with National Team: Work closely with the National Communications Director’s team to align state-level messaging with national priorities and initiatives.
- Manage Social Media: Maintain and manage the chapter’s social media pages, ensuring engaging and informative content that reflects our mission and values.
- Cover Events: Provide comprehensive coverage of all chapter events, including taking videos, photographs, and documenting activities to share with the community.
- Engage with Local Media: Act as the primary point of contact for local media, ensuring positive and accurate representation of the chapter and its activities.
- Promote Transparency and Engagement: Foster transparent communication and actively engage with members and the community to build trust and support.
- Develop Marketing Strategies: Create and implement effective marketing strategies to promote events, initiatives, and the overall mission of the chapter.
Through these initiatives, the Communication Committee (Media/PR) aims to enhance the visibility and impact of our chapter, ensuring that our messages are consistently communicated and our community stays informed and engaged.
